Breast cancer is the most common cancer in American women, except for skin cancers. Currently, the average risk of a woman in the United States developing breast cancer sometime in her life is about 13%. This means there is a 1 in 8 chance she will develop breast cancer. This also means there is a 7 in 8 chance she will never have the disease.
Breast cancer awareness is not just a month. Fighting Breast Cancer takes everyone. Join The Nakid Foundation in our effort to help find a cure by purchasing a Nakid silicone bracelet. Our goal for the month of October is to sell 500 silicone bracelets. We will donate 50% of the proceeds to The Julie Rogers “Gift of Life” Program.
The Gift of Life Women’s Breast Health Program was originally dedicated to providing free mammograms for medically underserved women. However, the organization’s services have multiplied to become one of the largest cancer screening initiatives of its kind in the state of Texas – offering free clinical breast exams, mammograms and diagnostic testing, as needed, for women who lack health insurance or cannot afford their high deductibles. We have three different donation packages
