What are you going to learn from these yoga sessions?
Of course you are going to have more mobility to your joints, flexibility to your muscles, strengthening your muscles, more stability for your body, balances left and right hemispheres and an improved concentration to your mind….etc, but these are not the main reasons or real purpose of yoga. These are important to have a healthy, disease free and a younger looking physical body. But the true purpose of practicing yoga asanas is to connect our mind with our body in our consciousness (Awareness).
What is the benefit of practicing yoga with awareness?
When we practice yoga asanas with awareness, the physical body and mind will start to integrate with each other in our consciousness/awareness. More we establish the connection between the body and mind, the less we treat our body with unnecessary toxic habits (including the things we consume using our sensory organs, what we eat, what we watch, what we speak, what we listen and what we touch).
Conscious practice of asanas in a day to day time is a very beneficial path towards our physical well-being and also to grow in our spiritual path.
