I do many things to keep my mind and body right. It all starts with our #sacredcenter
- the core. The core muscles include all of the muscles that cross the hips; that includes the glutea, quads, hamstrings, lower back muscles, all of the abdominal muscles and the deep muscles of our pelvic floor and sexual organs.
I’m a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science (and Nutrition Science). I have been training clients for 20 years and I never recommend doing a bunch of isolated ab exercises. Instead I lift weights, engage in strenuous activities that challenge my balance, work with @nanieggs
and dance hard. This is what I teach in my #SensualStrengthTraining
workshops. Also, most of our blood supply runs through our hips so it is important to undulate the hips. Undulating and shaking the hips and body helps to release trauma and reset energy fields along with helping to raise the #Kundalini
energy in you and the viewer. So it is a win win.
Also, as a womb carrier it is critical not to let your sacred center (abs) get too tight. Rock hard, rigid abs in a woman is bad for our wombs and our overall health. It’s important to keep it tight with the right amount of suppleness. With that being said, I don’t dance for your entertainment. I dance for me, my health and my sanity and I chose to share it with the world. And dancing in a little box only allows me to demonstrate 20% of what I am actually capable of, but I think you get the point.
Our bodies can be our greatest teachers if we learn to listen and pay attention.
