What a beautiful quote at the end of The Greatest Showman.
“the noblest art is that of making others happy” PT Barnum.
I think it can be quite hard to discover what makes you tick. The values you have, your drivers, your ambitions... your why.
Just recently I had quite a breakthrough for what really makes me happy and love the time with people and what I want to help my business clients achieve.
It is as simple as this “to make others happy”.
It might sound rather soppy, lacking in business drivers, lacking in intellect... and I guess this reflects the type of clients I attract, they know that emotional wealth will lead to financial wealth.
Happiness cannot be underestimated, and we cannot expect it all the time, however, once you deeply understand what does make you happy and you find people that help you achieve that definition of your personal happiness success drivers then it really does impact success overall.
What makes your unhappy is a start, that is what I had to identify when I reinvented myself internally and achieved a greater level of self awareness.
Then there is laughter, playfulness, freedom and being childlike and seeing the joy in so many tiny moments in our lives.
Happiness might seem a tough goal for many at the moment, I certainly thought I was going to have to redefine what happy meant. However, it is inside us all, when we let go of many things that hurt us, that cause us to struggle and allow new things to enter our lives. The greatest new thing might be the appreciation of yourself.
Seek out your new life if that is what you need, it doesn’t have to be a huge change, tiny things inside you can change huge things outside of you.
